Calculate Building Part Quantities

Generate the building part data used for quantification.

1. Click Quantification tab Buildingbook Extension (Calculate Building Part Quantities).
2. In the Calculate Building Part Quantities dialog, select a calculation type.
3. Be sure that you have selected the elements you need for your building part quantities calculation.
4. At the bottom of the Calculate Building Part Quantities dialog, click Calculate. Depending on the size of your model and the number of elements selected, this may take some time.
5. When the calculation completes, click View/Edit Results to review the calculation data.
Note: Once the first calculation is complete, a 3D view named Buildingbook 3D is added to the project browser. This view is required for Buildingbook calculations. It can be deleted, but ill regenerate when you make calculations again.
