You can specify various options such as grid lines, outlines, and font style using the Appearance tab of the Schedule Properties dialog (or the Material Takeoff Properties dialog).

Note: Stripe Rows is set for the current view and the current
Revit session only. Shading and conditional formatting can override the Stripe Rows setting when they are applied to a schedule. Stripe Rows does not apply to panel schedules or graphical schedules. Striped rows are presented in a sheet view so that tools can be created to display striped rows on shop drawings.
