Modify the Offset for a Circuit Path

Modify the offset for the entire circuit path or an individual segment.

The default circuit path offset is defined in the Electrical Settings dialog, under the General settings. See Electrical Settings: General.

1. Select a component in an existing circuit, and click Electrical Circuits tabSystem Tools panel Edit Path.

   All components except those in the selected circuit are dimmed in the drawing area and the Edit Path toolbar displays. The Path Offset field displays the offset for the selected segment.

2. On the Edit Path panel, for Path Offset, enter a value.

   The offset for the entire path is changed. If you want to modify the offset for an individual segment of the path, select the segment before entering the Path Offset value.

3. Click Finish Editing Path to apply your changes or click Cancel Editing Path to discard your changes.
