Remove a connection and leave its sub elements in their place.
- Select the connection to break. Sub-connections created by parametric cuts are represented by connection boxes or weld symbols.
- Click Modify | Structural Connections tab

- The structural steel connection is removed and all its sub-elements are transformed into correspondent fabrication elements and modifiers.
Note: A particular case of transformation is the Profile sub-element. See About Structural Connection Sub-Elements.
- When you break a connection, you lose the binding between the input elements and the control over sub-elements.
- The standard steel connection or parametric cut which composed a custom connection remain in place and unchanged.
- You cannot break more than one connection at a time.
