Modify floor part parameters to change the lifter settings for generating slab assemblies.
You change part settings in the Configuration dialog. Click Precast tab

Note: Hollow core slab dimensions and parts are defined by their families. To change hollow core features, edit the family. See

| Minimum Distance of Lifter to Slab Edge In Stressing Direction | Specifies the minimum distance from the lifter to any edge along the stressing direction of the slab. |
| Minimum Distance of Lifter to Slab Edge In Shifting Direction | Specifies the minimum distance from the lifter to any edge along the shifting direction of the slab. |
| Distances as Percentage of Slab Dimensions | Select to use a percentage of the slab dimensions instead of specific units for the in Stressing Direction and in Shifting direction parameters. |
| Maximum Weight per Lifter | Specifies the rated tensile strength of the lifting anchor. |
When you split a structural floor, 4 lifters are added based on this configuration. If the floor weight is higher that the capacity of the 4 lifters, a warning prompts you to change the type of lifters or to manually add additional lifters.
