Desktop Connector Is Not Installed

Links cannot be loaded.

Warning: The link model <xxx.dwg> on the connected drive cannot be loaded. To access this file, you must install Desktop Connector.

Issue: Revit cannot access the linked file because it is located on a connected drive.

Solution: Verify that Desktop Connector is installed. If necessary, install Desktop Connector.+

1. If Desktop Connector is not downloaded, download the latest version of Desktop Connector. Desktop Connector for Windows.

2. After downloading, open the download package and follow the instructions.
3. Launch Revit or Desktop Connector and confirm that you are signed into Autodesk Account.
