Desktop Connector Is Not Running

Desktop Connector is not running.

Warning: Desktop Connector is not running.

Issue: Desktop Connector has stopped running.

Solution:

  1. Verify that Desktop Connector is running and if not, launch the service.
  2. From Revit or Desktop Connector, confirm that you are signed into Autodesk Account.

  3. To verify that Desktop Connector is running:

    1. Navigate to the Hidden Icons button on the Windows taskbar.
    2. Once the Hidden Icons panel is expanded, the Desktop Connector tray icon will display if the application is running.

      Note: If the Desktop Connector icon is not visible, you can launch the service by navigating to Start > Autodesk > Desktop Connector.
