Learn how to find files and view file details in the Thin Client.

The Files Workspace

The Files workspace displays files and documents in your vault.

Folders in the Files workspace organize data in nested levels. A breadcrumb trail, displayed above the data table, represents the location of the current folder. Click a folder name in the breadcrumb trail to view its contents.

Files are listed in a data table. Click the Configure Columns icon to modify the column headers in the Files workspace. You can re-order or add user- and system-defined headers to the data table in the Configure Columns drop-down menu. The default order contains headers for the following data:

• Name (required)
• State
• Revision
• Category Name
• Checked Out By
• Vault Status

File Details

The file details view contains several tabs that display file information and viewing functions. The following tabs are available in the details view of a file:

• Properties Tab
• History Tab
• Uses Tab
• Where Used Tab
• Item Tab
• Change Order Tab
• View Tab

To view the details of a file:

1. Select the Files workspace in the navigation panel.
2. Navigate the folder tree to find your file. You can click folders in the workspace navigation pane or in the data table. Alternatively, you can search the vault to find the file with the search bar.
3. Click the file name in the data table.
