Filter Results

Specify filters to display limited set of duplicate search results. You can specify filters before the actual search for duplicates, or after the search.

All filters are automatically saved for the next search or when checking the next group.

Set results filters after the part search

1. Find duplicate parts.
2. Select the group of duplicates.
3. Click Set Filters.
4. Select the desired filter.
   • Same material as input geometry: Filter only duplicates with the same material.
   • Exact match: Include exact results in the filter. Note: If selected, it might take a few moments to display filtered results.
   • Include mirrored parts: Include mirrored parts in the results filter.
     Notes:

     • If selected, it might take a few moments to display filtered results.
     • If there are two very similar mirrored parts, they are still displayed in the results. There is a limitation that parts need to contain the same physical geometry to be filtered.
5. Click Apply.
6. If desired, Set additional filter criteria. Click Advanced Filters.
7. When you change the filter criteria, results get updated automatically in the Find Duplicates panel.

Set results filters after the assembly search

1. Find duplicate parts.
2. Click Set Filters.
3. In the Result Filters area, select the desired filter.
4. If desired, set additional filter criteria. Click Advanced Filters.

5. Note that when you change the filter criteria, results number for other groups won't update automatically. Click Refresh to update all group results number.

   Tip: To save time, you can click the results for other groups to view the result details. Clicking Refresh to update the number results for each group may take up some time.

Set results filters before the search

1. Find duplicate parts.
2. If desired, check the Same material as input geometry box to filter only duplicates with the same material.
3. Click Advanced Filters
4. In the Set Filters dialog box specify the filter criteria that applies to all parts in the selected assembly, and click OK.
5. Click Search in the Find Duplicates panel.
6. Click Set Filters to change filter criteria.
