Learn how to find items and view item details in the Thin Client.
The Items Workspace
The Items workspace displays items in your vault.
Items are listed in a data table. Click the Configure Columns icon
to modify the column headers in the Items workspace. You can re-order or add user- and system-defined headers to the data table in the Configure Columns drop-down menu. The default order contains headers for the following data:
- Name (required)
- State
- Revision
- Vault Status
- Category Name
- Title (Item, CO)
Item Details
The item details view contains several tabs that display item information. The following tabs are available in the details view of an item:
- Properties Tab
- History Tab
- Bill of Materials Tab
- The BOM view supports Multi-Level and Parts Only views.
- To change the BOM view, click the view icon (either
or
, depending on the current view) in the upper-right corner of the table.
- If
Show released files only is toggled on in Administrator Settings, non-released versions of the item don't display.

To view the details of an item:
- Select the Items workspace in the navigation panel.
- Scroll through the items list to find your item. Alternatively, you can
search the vault to find the item using the search bar.
- Click the item name in the data table.
