Client Update Install Information

  1. Run 'update_(Client).exe' on the each workstation which has a Vault client installed.
  2. Ensure the latest updates or fixes of all CAD applications are installed before applying this Update.
  3. User may be asked to restart the workstation on which Vault client is installed, after installing OR uninstalling the Vault client update.
  4. When creating deployment from https://manage.autodesk.com/products/deployments, select the update version. After installing Vault Client 2022 from the deployment image, the update will be installed as well.
  5. For Vault Client double dot update, such as 2022.1.1, there is no need to install the last single dot update first before installing the double dot update. The double dot update is cumulative and includes all changes and bug fixes of all previous updates. So, the update supports the Vault Client upgrade to 2022.1.1 from the 2022 RTM version or any 2022 update version.

However, there is no change in the upgrade process for Vault Server. Before installing the double dot update, you need to first install its single dot update.
