SHP Feature Line Settings Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to create SHP file settings to control how feature lines, polylines, and 3D polylines are configured and interpreted in a drawing.

New Feature Line Settings

Creates a new feature line settings file.

Open an Existing Feature Line Settings File

Opens an existing feature line settings file. A feature line settings file can have more than one setting. When you add a setting to an existing file, it is displayed at the bottom of the list.

Save Feature Line Settings

Saves the current feature line settings file.

If the feature line settings file is named, the program saves the feature line settings and does not request a new file name. Use the Save As Feature Line Settings button if you need to save the feature line settings with a different name.

If the feature line settings file is unnamed, the Save Settings File dialog box is displayed and the feature line settings file is saved with the file name.

Save As Feature Line Settings

Saves a copy of the current feature line settings under a new file name.

SHP File

Opens the Open Shapefile Information File dialog box so you can select a shapefile. You can then specify the shapefile attributes in the relevant feature line settings, such as for the Property Set setting.

Current SHP Formatting File Source

Displays the name of the current SHP File used for attributes and data in the individual feature line settings.

Add Feature Line Setting

Creates a new feature line setting and adds it to the bottom of the list of feature line settings.

Delete Feature Line Setting

Deletes the currently selected feature line settings from the list.
