To Work with the Layer List

Make a layer current:

1. Click the Layers toolbar Layer List to open the list.
2. Click the name of the layer you want to make current.

   The layer list closes with the layer you clicked visible and highlighted. It is now the current layer.

Change objects' layer:

1. Select one or more objects to assign to a different layer.
2. Click Layers toolbar Layer List to open the list.
3. Select the desired destination layer to make it current.
4. On the Layers toolbar, click (Add Selected Objects To Current Layer).

Change a layer's properties:

1. Click the Layers toolbar Layer List to open the list.
2. Click the layer property icon that you want to set.

   You can change the following properties from the layer list: Hide/Unhide, Freeze/Unfreeze, Renderable/Non-renderable, and Color.

3. Click the Layer List again to collapse it.
