Default Scale List Dialog Box

Controls the default list of scales stored in the registry.

OPTIONS (Command) Find: User Preferences tab > Default Scale List

When the scale list in a drawing is reset, the list is restored to the default list of scales defined in the Default Scale List dialog box.

Note: To control the list of scales for the current drawing, use the SCALELISTEDIT  command. After you add a new scale to the default scale list in the registry, you can use the Reset button in the Edit Drawing Scales dialog box to add the new scale to your drawing.

List of Options

The following options are displayed.

Scale List

Metric

Displays the default list of metric scales.

Imperial

Displays the default list of imperial scales.

If a scale name is duplicated, but has a different value, a number is appended to the name.

Add

Displays the Add Scale dialog box.

Edit

Displays the Edit Scale dialog box.

Note:

You cannot edit temporary scales.

Move Up

Moves the currently selected scale in the scale list up one position.

Move Down

Moves the currently selected scale in the scale list down one position.

Delete

Removes all unreferenced scales from the scale list and leaves the referenced scale when multiple scales are selected.

Reset

Deletes all scales and restores the default list of scales. You must press Reset separately for imperial scales and for metric scales.

Edit

Edits the selected scale in-place in the scale list.

Press Tab to move between the fields of the scale being edited.

Reset

Deletes all custom scales and restores the default list of scales.
