About Customizing Quick Access Toolbars

The Quick Access toolbar is located along the top of the application window and provides access to a defined set of file management commands.

The Quick Access toolbar is always located in the same place in the program, but different commands and controls can be displayed based on the current workspace.

Customizing a Quick Access toolbar is similar to customizing a ribbon panel or toolbar. You can add, remove, and reposition commands and controls to tailor the user interface element to the way you work. You can also add drop-down menus and separators to group and organize related commands and controls.

Note: The controls you can add are listed under Ribbon Controls in the drop-down list under the Command List pane.

Once a Quick Access toolbar has been created, it can be displayed in the application window by assigning it to a workspace and setting the workspace current.
