To Remove Leader Segments (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

1. In the drawing area, double-click the symbol to edit.
2. Select the Leader and Text tab.
3. Click Remove.
   Note: The Remove button is available only if the leader contains removable segments.
4. Select a leader segment or leader node. The program bases deletion on your selection and on the following rules:
   • A part of the leader, if you select an internal node or segment, or
   • A leader branch, if you select the last segment of the leader branch.
   • The whole leader, if you select the last leader segment or the last leader node.
5. Click OK.

Note: For visual control, the program highlights the part of the leader to remove.
