The structure catalog can directly link to the Vault, if it is installed on your computer.
When you are logged into the vault, the list view in the File References section on the Current Drawing tab shows two additional columns: the vault status column and the version column. (In the tree view, only the vault status is indicated.)
The File References section of the Current Drawing contains right-click menus to invoke the following vault commands.
Provides the ability to login or logout of the vault from within the structure catalog.
Displays a File Open dialog box that lists all the files in the vault so that you can open a file.
Uploads a local copy of a vaulted file back to the vault, creating a new version of the drawing. Once a file is checked in, others can access the new version and modify the drawing.
The Check in command is also used to add a new drawing to the vault. The new drawing is added to the vault creating a new version of the drawing, which in this case is the first version.
Downloads the latest version of a drawing (for modification) from the vault and locks it so that no one else can check out the file from the vault.
Releases the lock previously placed on the drawing file, so other users can check out the file if needed. It also synchronizes the local copy of the drawing file with the version in the vault. All modifications made to the local copy are lost.

Updates the vault status icons to reflect the most recent state of files.
