After modifying surface data, the values in the ranges of the Analysis tab of the Surface Properties dialog box and surface legend tables are not updated.
Using the Analysis tab of the Surface Properties dialog box, you can create ranges for slopes, elevations, directions, watersheds, and contours. These ranges require manual recalculation before the surface display or the legend table can be updated.
If the surface data changes, open the Surface Properties dialog box and click the Analysis button in the Ranges area of the Analysis tab to reprocess the data. Surface legend tables that are set up to be dynamic are then automatically updated with the changes.
