Codec updates: BMD RAW 2.4, FBX 2020.3.1, OpenEXR SDK 3.1.5, QuickTime fixes, and RED SDK 8.2.2.
Version 2.4 of BMD RAW is now supported. It adds support for Leica SL2-S Blackmagic RAW clips captured by Blackmagic Video Assist. This version also includes general performance and stability improvements.
FBX version is updated to 2020.3.1.
Flame Family now uses OpenEXR SDK 3.1.5. It addresses performance issues when reading and writing OpenEXR media files. For Flame family products, this translates in speed improvements in Media Export and when caching media files.
Files generated with the new SDK are compatible with applications using the OpenEXR SDK 2.x.
When importing a QuickTime file with a fractional duration, the last frame was not visible in the MediaHub. This is now fixed by rounding up the duration.
The Timecode track in a QuickTime Edit List is now correctly read.
Flame Family now uses RED SDK 8.2.2. The following are the fixes included in this update:
