Run a Progressive Fatigue Analysis

Cover the steps specifically required for running a progressive fatigue analysis.

The steps required to transform the static analysis into a fatigue analysis are minimal. Please refer to the Helius PFA User's Guide for further details (Progressive Fatigue Analyses).

We will create an input file and modify it using ANSYS commands to make the required changes for the fatigue analysis.

1. Click File > Write DB log file to create the input file.
2. In the Write Database Log dialog box that appears, name the file Tutorial_4.ans and select 'Write essential commands only' from the drop-down menu. Click OK.
