To Add Automated Centerlines to a Drawing View

Default centerline behavior is defined in the Drawing tab in the Document Options dialog box.

To configure centerline for an individual view

  1. On the ribbon, click Annotate tab Symbols ribbon panel Centerlines , and select a view.
    Note: The Automated Centerlines command is only available when all selections are valid for automated centerlines creation. Automated centerlines cannot be created on raster drawing views.
  2. In the Automated Centerline dialog box, select the features to receive centerlines.
  3. Set Normal or Parallel projection.
  4. Set limits of features to mark with automated centerlines:
    • In the Radius Threshold box, enter minimum and maximum radii to exclude elements not included in the range.
    • In the Arc Angle Threshold box, enter the angle minimum to exclude elements with a smaller angle.
