The Extrude Runoff Surface feature creates a runoff surface based on the edges and the direction that you select.
You can select an edge on the part directly, without relying on a runoff loop.
You can enter angle values to select various directions between the X axis and the Y axis. You can also select a reference work axis, surface edge, face edge, work plane, or plane face.
Note: if you set the direction parallel to other edges, the runoff surface fails.
