Keyboard Shortcut Reference

What's New: 2021

Define custom shortcut keys and command aliases. A command alias is an alphanumeric character or character sequence that can be used to start a command.

The following applies only when default multicharacter Command Aliases are loaded. See To Work with Custom Command Aliases and Shortcuts for information on how to enable or disable default multicharacter Command Aliases.

Note: Some shortcut keys and command aliases are only active in specific environments.

A shortcut can be defined using any of the following keys or key combinations:

Other keys, including function can have reserved shortcuts assigned to them, but these keys are not user-definable.

Using the defined key, combination of keys, or character sequence, start a command like an AutoCAD command alias. The following table represents a subset of the shortcut keys and command aliases predefined in Inventor. View predefined shortcut keys and command aliases by selecting Tools tab Options panel Customize and select the Keyboard tab.

Note: The following shortcuts do not apply if other definitions are imported, or the Inventor definitions are edited.
