Flexible hose routes are created using a minimum number of route points to achieve the desired shape. To provide more control over flexible hose route shape in specific areas, you can add additional route points. The changed route automatically updates as route points are added.
- Activate the hose route under the flexible hose subassembly.

To add a hose route point, click Insert Node on either of the following: - Route tab
- Context menu of the Model browser and graphics window.
- Click on the route to add a hose route point.
A hose route point is created at the pick location, and the flexible hose route recomputes. Its shape changes slightly after each hose route point is added.
- Optionally, right-click the hose route point, and use either of the following commands to edit the orientation and position:
- Redefine
- 3D Move/Rotate
- Repeat Step 2 through Step 4 to add more hose route points.
- When the hose route satisfies the design, right-click and select Finish Edit.
