Grow and Shrink polygon components or NURBS CVs

To grow a selection of polygon components or NURBS CV's

1. Select the components or CVs.
2. Use Select > Grow to expand or Shift + . (period).

Note: Growing a selection expands it to its adjacent components (those touching the components that are selected).

You can also Shift + click to select multiple parts. Note that the cursor becomes a + (plus sign) to show multiple selection is active.

To shrink a selection of polygon components or NURBS CVs

1. Select the components or CVs.
2. Use Select > Shrink.

Note: Shrinking a selections subtracts the outer ring of components that are selected.

You can also Ctrl + click to deselect individual parts. The cursor becomes a - (minus sign) to show that individual deselection is active.
