The Tool Box displays on the left side of the Maya interface by default - see Interface Overview. It contains the most commonly-used tools for working in Maya.
Tool shortcuts
The following hotkeys are for the tools in the Tool Box. You can reassign ahortcuts to different keys in the Hotkey Editor.
