Override the default Stingray Physically Based Shader

You can override the default Stingray Physically Based Shader node so that your custom version of the shader is created instead.

  1. Click Open ShaderFX in the Stingray PBS Attribute Editor and build your shader network.
  2. Save your shader network as Startup_PBS.sfx in \Users\<username>\Documents\<mayaVersion>\ShaderFX\Scenes\StingrayPBS.

Now your custom version of the shader loads when you create a Stingray PBS node.
