Select Crease Sets from Selection
- Highlights the crease sets in the
Crease Set Editor that are associated with the selected creased components. Only available when a mesh or components are selected.

Bake Crease Values to Mesh
- Transfers the crease values in the crease sets directly to the mesh and removes the edges and vertices from the crease sets. Only available when a mesh or a crease set is selected.

Create Crease Sets from Mesh
- Converts the existing mesh crease values into like-valued crease sets. Only available when a mesh is selected.

Subdivide Base Mesh
- Refines the base mesh by one level of subdivision and reduces the crease values by one. The resulting subdivided mesh is identical to the original, but contains more faces on the base mesh. Only available when a mesh or a crease set is selected.

Set Edge Hardness from Crease Values
- Hardens or softens edges in the mesh to match the current crease set value. Only available when a mesh or a crease set is selected.
Display
The following options are available when a mesh or crease set is selected:

Optimal Mesh Subdivision Level
- Adjusts the mesh shape node's
Preview Division Levels attribute in the
Smooth Mesh > Subdivision Levels section of the
Attribute Editor so it's one value greater than the maximum
Crease value on the mesh. This shows the full effect of the applied creasing values on the resulting subdivision surface.

Default Mesh Subdivision Level
- Sets the mesh shape node's
Preview Division Levels attribute in the
Smooth Mesh > Subdivision Levels section of the Attribute Editor to its default value of 2.

Create/Update Crease Color Set
- Creates or updates a color set to represent the creasing values on the mesh. Values range from blue (no creasing) to red (crease value of 4+). See
Polygon color sets for more information.
Tip: To view color sets, your object must be in a shaded mode (Shading > Smooth Shade All).

Show/Hide Crease Color Set
- Shows or hides the previously calculated crease color set on your mesh.

Crease Level Drag Increment
- Lets you set the increment that is used to increase or decrease the crease value when you middle-drag in the
Crease field.

Default Crease Set name
- Lets you set a naming convention for your crease sets. The default name when a crease set is created is creaseSet#.
