Set Contents with Curve lets you use a curve to define where contents are added to a fluid container. Like a painted fluid stroke, the curve does not emit the fluid but instead inserts fluid samples into the fluid container. When setting fluid contents from a curve, the container’s fluid Content Methods must be set to dynamic or static. See Create dynamic fluid effects or Create non-dynamic fluid effects.
To add fluid contents with a curve
See Draw curves in the NURBS Modeling guide.
If the curve extends past the boundaries of the container, fluid contents are added to the container only where the curve is within its boundaries, and the number of fluid samples are calculated for the entire curve.
The Set Fluid Contents From Curve Options window appears.
You must set the initial state of your fluid to retain the contents added to your fluid container by the curve.
You now have the option to delete the curve. This will not affect the contents of the container.
