Synopsis

texMoveContext( [object] , [editPivotMode=boolean], [exists=boolean], [image1=string], [image2=string], [image3=string], [position=boolean], [snap=boolean], [snapComponentsRelative=boolean], [snapPixelMode=int], [snapValue=float], [tweakMode=boolean])

Note: Strings representing object names and arguments must be separated by commas. This is not depicted in the synopsis.

texMoveContext is undoable, queryable, and editable.

This command can be used to create, edit, or query a texture editor move manip context. Note that the above flags control the global behaviour of all texture editor move manip contexts. Changing one context independently is not allowed. Changing a context's behaviour using the above flags, will change all existing texture editor move manip contexts.

Return value

string(the name of the new context)

In query mode, return type is based on queried flag.

Flags

editPivotMode, exists, image1, image2, image3, position, snap, snapComponentsRelative, snapPixelMode, snapValue, tweakMode
Long name (short name) Argument types Properties
editPivotMode(epm) boolean query
Returns true when the manipulator is in edit pivot mode.
exists(ex) boolean create
Returns true or false depending upon whether the specified object exists. Other flags are ignored.
image1(i1) string createqueryedit
First of three possible icons representing the tool associated with the context.
image2(i2) string createqueryedit
Second of three possible icons representing the tool associated with the context.
image3(i3) string createqueryedit
Third of three possible icons representing the tool associated with the context.
position(p) boolean query
Returns the current position of the manipulator
snap(s) boolean queryedit
Sets or queries whether snapping is to be used.
snapComponentsRelative(scr) boolean queryedit
Value can be : true or false. If true, while snapping a group of UVs, the relative spacing between them will be preserved. If false, all the UVs will be snapped to the target point
snapPixelMode(spm) int queryedit
Sets the snapping mode to be the pixel center or upper left corner.
snapValue(sv) float queryedit
Sets or queries the size of the snapping increment.
tweakMode(twk) boolean queryedit
When true, the manipulator is hidden and highlighted components can be selected and moved in one step using a click-drag interaction.
