The Viewer window enables you view the current scene, select, transform and animate the elements, and set various options for displaying the scene.
It also enables you to apply effects, constraints, and devices, and to measure and display the distance between two objects.
The Viewer window is also the space where your scenes are played, the point of view that is rendered, and the stage on which the animation and models are seen.

You populate the Viewer window by loading files, merging files or assets, dragging elements into the Viewer window via other MotionBuilder windows. You can also Alt-drag items from the Viewer window into the Navigator window, or other windows. For example, you can Alt-drag a model into a Simple constraint cell, or drag models onto a Story Animation track.
You can undock and reposition the Viewer anywhere in the MotionBuilder workspace.
You can add multiple instances of the Viewer window s by selecting Window > Add Viewer from the main menu bar.
Added Viewer windows appear in MotionBuilder as floating windows, but they can be docked anywhere in the user interface. Each window has the Viewer and Display menu, but not the Viewer window toolbar. You can assign cameras and perspectives to added Viewer windows.
