Home Tab

PanelContains tools to...
Projectcontrol the whole scene including appending files and refreshing CAD files, resetting changes made in Navisworks, and setting file options.

Viewpoint Tab

Stereo (hidden by default)enable stereoscopic vision provided suitable hardware is available.

BIM 360 Glue Tab

BIM 360 Glueopen a BIM 360 Glue project and model, and access the project administration page.
Modelappend BIM 360 models to your current model, and refresh models in your project.
Reviewcreate, edit, and delete Shared Views, to use between your BIM 360 Glue and Navisworks projects.
Equipmentview BIM 360 equipment properties.

Render Tab

PanelContains tools to...
Systemtoggle the Autodesk Rendering window, which is used to select and apply materials to the model, create lights, and work with environment settings. Use Render in Cloud to render in Autodesk 360 and create a photorealistic view of your 3D model in the current viewpoint. Access and modify your renderings online in the Render Gallery.
Note: It is recommended to hide room objects before using the Render in Cloud option. A mirroring effect can occur if the room objects are not hidden.
Interactive Ray Traceselect render quality and render directly in the Scene View, and pause or cancel the render process.
Exportsave and export the rendered picture of the current viewpoint.

Item Tools Tab

Note: Only available when you have a model item selected in the Scene View.
PanelContains tools to...
SwitchBackswitch back to compatible design applications at the current view.
Holdhold the selected items so that they move with you as you navigate around the scene.
Look Atfocus and zoom the current view onto the selected items.
Visibilitycontrol the visibility of the selected items.
Transformmove, rotate, and scale the selected items, and reset items back to their original values.
Appearancechange the color and transparency of the selected items, and reset items back to their original values.
Linksmanage the links attached to the selected items, and reset links back to their original values.

Sectioning Tools Tab

Note: Only available in a 3D workspace.
PanelContains tools to...
Enableenable/disable sectioning of the current viewpoint.
Modeswitch the sectioning mode between planes and box modes.
Planes Settingscontrol section planes.
Transformmove, rotate, and scale the section planes/box.
Savesave the current viewpoint.

Vault

Note: Only available when the Autodesk Vault is installed.
PanelContains tools to...
Accessopen Vault, log in, log out, and append files.
File Statusrefresh files, check them in and out, and display the Vault Browser window to perform basic data management operations.
Controlupdate, change, and revise files. This option is only available when you log into a pay-for Autodesk Vault server.
