As well as creating new positions, you can use the Device Reposition Wizard to return to a previously used position. This enables you to measure large features or features that may have previously been missed without having to recreate the original position.
To reactivate an existing position:
- Connect to the measuring device.
- In the
Co-ordinates dialog, click the
Reposition
button. The
Device Reposition Wizard is displayed.
- Select
Reactivate a previously created position, and click
Next. The wizard lists the previously measured positions; the currently selected position is indicated by the Active Position
icon.
- Move the part or measuring device to the position you want to use, then select the position in the list.
- When you are asked to confirm the change, click
OK. The position's icon changes from
to
to indicate it is active.
- Click Finish to complete the reactivation and close the wizard.
