Select the Bending tab in the Columns dialog (Theoretical (required) reinforcement of bars - RC columns, beams). The following dialog displays.
The following quantities can be selected for a table of results of theoretical (required) reinforcement for structure bars.
- Reinforcement ratio.
- Required reinforcement ratio determined in the calculations of the required (theoretical) reinforcement area.
- Provided reinforcement ratio resulting from the assumed provided (real) reinforcement area.
- Reinforcement area.
- Required - Top and bottom reinforcement area (for My and Mz moment).
- Provided - Top and bottom reinforcement area (for My and Mz moment).
- Maximum and minimum - Maximum and minimum reinforcement area defined in a given code. This is calculated by multiplying the minimum and maximum value of reinforcement ratio defined in the code by the area of the cross-section.
- Reinforcement distribution.
- Top and bottom reinforcement distribution (7f10 means seven bars with diameter 10 mm) - for My and Mz moment
- Internal forces.
- Design case - The case that is decisive for the bar design process (reinforcement area)
- Combination definition - Definition of the combination that is decisive for the bar design process (reinforcement area)
- Design moment My and Mz - Values of bending moments
- Axial design force N - Longitudinal force values.
The bottom of the dialog contains the following options.
- Remarks - An additional column for commentaries concerning calculations of reinforcement area in particular bar cross-sections.
- All - All options in the tab will be presented.
- None - none of the options in the tab will be presented.
