Web plates

Use the Web plates panel to define the geometric dimensions of the plates on web bars.

Web plates parameters

Contains the list of parameters that can be applied to the web plates.

One sided: Indicates that only one web plate is used to connect the members.
Center: Aligns the web plate axis with the symmetry axis of the right bar and at equal distance of the bars.
Note: This option is always active if the connection is symmetrical.
Distance from right/lower bar edge: Specify the distance between the plate and the right or lower bar edge.
Note: If Center is selected, or if the connection is symmetrical, this distance is calculated automatically.
Distance from left/upper bar edge: Specify the distance between the plate and the left or upper bar edge.
Note: If Center is selected, or if the connection is symmetrical, this distance is calculated automatically.
Length: Enter the length of the plate.
Width: Enter the width of the plate.
Thickness: Enter the thickness of the plate.
Material: Select the plate material.
Distance from lower/right bar axis: Specify the distance between the plate and the lower or right bar axis.
