Select the Detailed tab in the Columns dialog to select detailed results for presentation.
In this dialog box, the following values may selected.
- Stresses: sxx , syy, sxy, sz. Adds columns for stress values sxx, syy, sxy or sz, respectively, for individual planar FEs in the local co-ordinate system as selected during structure analysis.
- Membrane Forces: Nxx, Nyy, Nxy. Adds columns for membrane force values Nxx, Nyy or Nxy, respectively, for individual planar FEs in the local co-ordinate system as selected during structure analysis.
- Moments: Mxx, Myy, Mxy. Adds columns for bending moment values Mxx, Myy or Mxy, respectively, for individual planar FEs in the local co-ordinate system as selected during structure analysis.
- Shear Stresses: txx, tyy. Adds columns for shear stress values txx or tyy, respectively, for individual planar FEs in the local co-ordinate system as selected during structure analysis.
- Shear Forces: Qxx, Qyy. Adds columns for shear forces values Qxx or Qyy, respectively, for individual planar FEs in the local co-ordinate system as selected during structure analysis.
- Displacements: uxx, uyy, w. Adds columns for displacement values uxx, uyy or w, respectively, for individual planar FEs in the local co-ordinate system as selected during structure analysis. The displacements w are displacements in a direction perpendicular to the element's surface.
- Rotations: Rxx, Ryy, Rz. Adds columns for rotation angle values Rxx, Ryy or Rz, respectively, for individual planar FEs in the local co-ordinate system as selected during structure analysis.
- Soil resistance K. Adds a column for ground resistance values K for individual planar FEs in the local co-ordinate system as selected during structure analysis.
The top of the dialog displays the layer for which the calculation results will be presented.
Results for panels are presented in a user defined local coordinate system. Click Direction… to open the Selection of Direction dialog. This dialog allows selection of vectors and a node defining the local coordinate system, to be precise, defining the x axis direction. All result values will be defined in the rotated co-ordinate value. The direction is chosen in the Selection of Direction dialog. You can select any vector to define the main direction and resulting calculation results for planar elements. The selected vector is then projected onto the element (the local x axis direction). The main vector cannot be perpendicular to the element (parallel to the local z axis). If the vector projection onto an element is a point, then all results will equal zero.
The Layer option on the Parameters tab also has a strong influence on the values presented in the table. It allows for the selection of a layer parallel to the middle surface of the surface structure for which calculation results will be presented. The selection of the layer has no effect on shear forces or displacements. These are selected for the middle surface and are constant along the whole height of the FE cross-section. This selection is important during stress presentation.
