Connection Verification

Using this option, you can specify manual verification parameters for the defined connection.

Access the option by:

1. Clicking Connections layout.
2. Clicking Connections menu > Manual Calculations.

After you select the option, the Manual Connection Verification dialog displays.

Specify verification parameters:

• Node number - displays the number of the node for which the selected connection type is verified
• Connection number - displays the number of the verified connection
• Internal Forces in the Connection
  • Bending moment M - enter the bending moment value for a connection
  • Shear force Q - enter the shear force value for a connection
  • Axial force N - enter the axial force value for a connection
• Simplified note - select it to display a simple calculation note with the basic information about the verified connection.

After clicking the Calculations button the software runs calculations of the selected connection type for a given structure node. Define internal connection forces (M, Q, N).
