Reinforced Concrete Design Content for Brazil

New content related to the Reinforced Concrete design according to the Brazilian standards was implemented.

• Concrete material properties library according to the Brazilian code of standard Brazilian NBR 6118:2014.
• Reinforcement rebar library containing bar sizes and steel properties according to the Brazilian NBR standards.

The code is set as default in the relevant Brazilian regional settings.

Eurocode EN 1992-1-1 has been set as default Reinforced Concrete design code for Brazil, as it is similar to the Brazilian NBR 6118:2014 design code.

To find this new database and materials:

1. Click Tools Job Preferences. The Job Preferences dialog opens.
2. In the left panel of the Job Preferences dialog select Databases
3. Select Reinforcing bars in the left panel of the Job Preferences dialog.
4. Click the Add drop-down list to open the list of steel section databases.

Note: The codes available in the drop-down list depend on the country selected in the Preferences dialog. To configure the list of available codes, click the arrow, and then click More at the bottom of the list.
