Place Multiple Paths

Add multiple path of travel lines to your model for a common start and end point. Set the minimum distance used between the multiple path lines.

1. Open a plan view.
2. Click Analyze tabPeople Flow ToolKit Multiple Paths.
3. Set the minimum separation value for the paths.
4. Click to place the beginning point for the multiple paths.
5. Click a second time to place the ending point for the multiple paths.


The multiple paths of travel are calculated as the shortest travel distance between the two selected points and which the paths do not come closer than the minimum separation distance. The paths avoid model element obstacles in the path of travel and keeps the paths separated based on the settings selected as you place the path. Make changes to the Route Analysis Settings to modify the model categories considered obstacles to the Path of Travel.
