Integration with Robot Structural Analysis

This dialog allows you to specify a direction and a type of integration with Robot Structural Analysis.

Access

In Revit, click Analyze tab Structural Analysis panel Robot Structural Analysis Robot Structural Analysis Link.

Send model

Allows sending a Revit model to Robot.

Update model

Allows updating a Revit model after making changes in Robot (after structure calculations, the design of structure elements, and changes in the structure geometry).

Update model and results

Allows updating a Revit model and results after making changes in Robot (after structure calculations, the design of structure elements, and changes in the structure geometry).

Type of integration

Direct integration

Allows sending a Revit model directly to Robot.

Send to the intermediate file (.smxx)

Allows sending a Revit model to the intermediate file (SMXX). You can open the saved file in Robot or in Revit. Also, you can use the SMXX file to exchange data between programs on different computers.
