Learn the calculation rules applied to subareas when calculation factors are used.
Addition of subareas, equal which calculation factor
Unfinished Area (UA) = Unfinished Area + Subarea
- The total unfinished area results from the total area of the room and the subareas.
- Does not take reductions into account.
- Does not take calculation factors into account.
Net Room Area (NRA) = Net Room Area + Subarea
- The total net room area results from the total area of the room and the subareas.
- Takes reductions into account.
- Does not take calculation factors into account.
Living Area (LA) = Living Area + Calculation Factor % x Subarea
- The total living area results from the total area of the room and the subareas.
- Takes reductions into account.
- Takes calculation factors into account.
Subtraction of subareas with calculation factor 100%
Unfinished Area (UA) = Unfinished Area - Subarea
- The total unfinished area results from the difference of the room area and the subareas.
- Does not take reductions into account.
- Does not take calculation factors into account.
Net Room Area (NRA) = Net Room Area - Subarea
- The total net room area results from the difference of the room area and the subareas.
- Takes reductions into account.
- Does not take calculation factors into account.
Living Area (LA) = Living Area - Subarea
- The total living area results from the difference of the room area and the subareas.
- Takes reductions into account.
- Takes calculation factors into account.
Subtraction of subareas with calculation factor 0% or 50% (≠100 %)
Unfinished Area (UA) = Unfinished Area
- The total unfinished area results from the room area.
- Does not take reductions into account.
- Does not take calculation factors into account.
Net Room Area (NRA) = Net Room Area
- The total net room area results from the room area.
- Takes reductions into account.
- Does not take calculation factors into account.
Living Area (LA) = Living Area - Calculation Factor % x Subarea
- The total living area results from the room area.
- Takes reductions into account.
- Takes calculation factors into account.
- A calculation factor of -50% subtracts the area by 50%, and a calculation factor of -0 % subtracts the area completely.
