Define the support conditions of a structural element.
- Identify the structural objects to which you want to add boundary conditions.
- Open a 3D view to see the analytical model.
- Click Analyze tab

(Boundary Conditions).
Note: Verify that the boundary condition family types are assigned in the Structural Settings menu (for more information, see
Boundary Conditions Settings).
- Click one of the following from the Place Boundary Conditions tab
Boundary Conditions panel:
- On the Options bar, select either Fixed, Pinned, Roller, or User from the State drop-down
- In the drawing area, click the structural element to which you want to add the boundary condition.
Note: The end of the analytical line will highlight when you have correctly placed your cursor over it.
