Work with View/Sheet Sets for Export

Specify views and sheets to export from the current model and save the set for later re-use.

For example, for code reviews you can create a view/sheet set that includes only plan views. Then create another set that includes a different selection of views and sheets for consultants, and another set that includes all sheets in needed for a construction document set.

To follow the steps described below, first open the PDF export dialog.

To export a multiple views/sheets one time:

  1. Under Export Range, select Selected View/Sheets.
  2. Use the drop down and select <in-session>, and click .
  3. Select the views/sheets for export.
  4. (Optional) Edit Print Order of PDF Export.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Click Export.

To Use an existing set or Create/Edit a set:

  1. Under Export Range, select Selected View/Sheets.
  2. Use the drop down to select the set for export.
  3. Click Export.
  4. (Optional) To create a new set, click (New Set). Enter a name for the set, and click OK.
    1. Add or remove the desired views/sheets and click save.
    2. Click OK. The selected set name will be displayed in the PDF export dialog.
  5. (Optional) Duplicate, rename, or delete an existing set.
    • To duplicate the set, click (Duplicate Set). Enter a name for the set and click OK.
    • To rename the set, click (Rename Set). Enter a new name for the set and click OK.
    • To delete the set, click (Delete Set). Click Yes to confirm.
  6. (Optional) Edit the contents of an existing set, select a set and do one or more of the following:
    • To filter the list of views and sheets by type, click the filter.
    • To filter the list of views and sheets by name, click in the search box and enter a search term.
    • To preview a view or sheet, select it and click Preview.
    • To select views and sheets for the set, click Select All, Select None, or select individual views/sheets in the include column.
    • To Hide un-checked views/sheets, select the box. To show all views/sheets, clear the box.
  7. (Optional) Edit Print Order of PDF Export.
