Modify the label text format in the Type Properties dialog for the contour label.
To change type properties, select an element and click Modify tab

(Type Properties). Changes to type properties apply to all instances in the project.

| Color | Sets the color of label text. |
| Text Font | Sets the font for label text. |
| Text Size | Sets the size of label text. |
| Bold | Applies bold to label text. |
| Italic | Applies italics to label text. |
| Underline | Applies underlining to label text. |
| Label primary contours only | If selected, only the primary contour lines are labeled. See About Site Settings. |
| Units Format | Specifies units and rounding properties for contour lines. By default, this option uses the project settings. |
| Elevation Base | If the elevation base value is set to Project Base Point, the elevation reported on a level is with respect to the project origin.
If the base value is set to Survey Point, then the elevation reported is with respect to the fixed survey point. |
