Understand the tools for Structural Precast located on the Revit ribbon.
(Split). Divides walls and slabs into precast panels. See Split Structural Walls and Floors into Assemblies with Structural Precast.
(Mounting Parts). Identifies mounting parts that should be assigned to the parts in an element. See (Update Mounting Part Elements in Precast Assemblies).
(Reinforcement). Applies pre-configured reinforcement for selected assemblies or parts of the same element type. See Place Reinforcement in Precast Assemblies.
(Custom Fabric Sheets). Applies pre-configured fabric sheets to walls and slabs. See Place and Edit Custom Fabric Reinforcement Sheets.
(CFS Config). Opens the Custom Fabric Sheet Configuration dialog, where you can define the rules for generating a custom fabric sheet . See Create and Edit Custom Fabric Reinforcement Sheets.
(Shop Drawings). Creates shop drawings for selected elements using predefined templates. See Configure and Create a Shop Drawing for Precast Parts.
(CAM Export). Creates machine data files of selected assemblies. See (Export CNC Files from Precast Assemblies).
(Configuration). Configure the features of Structural Precast to facilitate your precast workflows. See Configuration Dialog.
(Enable). Enables the automatic re-creation of the precast element when you make changes in the precast assembly. This applies only to precast assemblies and enables the re-creation of mounting parts or reinforcement when modifying the part.
(Disable). Disables the automatic re-creation of the precast element when you make changes in the precast assembly. This applies only to precast assemblies and prevents the re-creation of mounting parts or reinforcement when modifying the part.
