Use the Reinforcement Numbering dialog to make adjustments to rebar numbering sequences.
To open the dialog, click Structure tab Reinforcement panel drop-down Reinforcement Numbering.
Minimum number of digits for reinforcement numbers. Specifies the minimum number of digits to display in a sequence. For example, when set to 5 digits, rebar number 3 displays as 00003.
Filter partitions. Specifies the partitions to be displayed in the Rebar Numbering dialog. This is particularly useful in projects with a large number of partitions. For example, enter "level _1" to view all partitions that contain "level_1" in their name. The partition list in the dialog will then only show those partitions. Likewise, entering "level" will return "level_1," level_2," and so on.
Partition. Lists the names of reinforcement numbering sequences in the project. If reinforcement is not explicitly assigned a partition, the field displays as <Unassigned>.
You can rename partitions
A to B, C to D | A gets merged with B, C gets renamed to D |
A to D, B to D | A and B are merged into a the new partition D. |
A to D, B to E, C to F | A, B, and C are all given new unique partition names. |
A to C, B to C | A and B are merged into C. |
You cannot rename partitions
A to B, B to E | A is renamed to B, but B is also being renamed. |
A to B, B to A | A and B are target names, but are also being renamed. |
A to C, B to C, C to D | A and B are merged into C, but C is also being renamed. |
A to B, B to C, C to A | A, B, and C are being merged, but the target partitions are also being renamed/merged. |
Rebar Numbers Start. Specifies the first number for rebar in the partition.
Rebar Numbers In Use. Displays the current numerical range for rebar in the partition. The range highlights with an asterisk when one or more gaps exist in the sequence.
Fabric Numbers Start. Specifies the first number for fabric sheets in the partition.
Fabric Numbers In Use. Displays the current numerical range for fabric sheets in the partition. The range highlights with an asterisk when one or more gaps exist in the sequence.
Remove Gaps. Becomes active when one or more gaps exists in a sequence. The checkbox removes gaps in the numbering sequence of rebar and fabric sheets in a partition.
