To improve productivity, you can rehost an MEP connector on a face or work plane while working in Family Editor.
When rehosting, Revit attempts to keep existing connections. Duct and pipe elements that are attached to a rehosted connector move with the connector when the family is loaded back into the project. This can cause disconnections as that movement is propagated through other connected elements.
