Elevation properties for MEP elements have been updated and new properties have been added to improve consistency for design and fabrication elements.
The following elevation parameters are available for MEP elements: duct, pipe, cable tray, conduit, fabrication ductwork, fabrication pipework, fabrication containment. All parameters can be tagged and scheduled, except for spot-based elevation parameters which can be tagged but cannot be scheduled.
- Lower End Top of Insulation Elevation
- Lower End Top Elevation
- Lower End Obvert Elevation
- Lower End Centerline Elevation
- Lower End Invert Elevation
- Lower End Bottom Elevation
- Lower End Bottom of Insulation Elevation
- Upper End Top of Insulation Elevation
- Upper End Top Elevation
- Upper End Obvert Elevation
- Upper End Centerline Elevation
- Upper End Invert Elevation
- Upper End Bottom Elevation
- Upper End Bottom of Insulation Elevation
In addition, the following improvements have been made to elevation parameters when drawing sloped piping:
- Middle Elevation is editable when the slope option is set to Slope Off.
- Lower End Centerline is editable when the slope option is set to Slope Up.
- Upper End Centerline is editable when the slope option is set to Slope Down.
This feature was suggested by customers on the
Ideas forum and is described on the
product road map.
