Revit can remember Modify Tools settings in a current session as well as other sessions when you write the settings to the Revit.ini file.
User specific settings for tools found under the modify tab can be remembered in the current session of Revit, as well as in additional sessions of Revit.
To remember user settings, write the settings into the Revit.ini file.
