Optimize for Many Light Sources

In 2022.2, we added support for the Optimize for Many Light Sources option when GPU raytracing. It allows the renderer to optimize the light calculation by slightly reducing the quality, which significantly increases the rendering performance.

While the quality loss is not recognizable in most situations, some scenes may suffer from heavy noise, when this feature is selected. For such scenes, disable the optimization to get a clean render result. In scenes with many light or geometry light sources, rendering may slow down. Find this option in the Render Settings > General tab > Options section.
